volume of d metal = outer volume - inner volume

 = 4/3 pie r3 - 4/3 pie R3

 = 4/3 pie (r3 - R3)

                               = 4/3 x 22/7 (123 - 103)  

                               = 4/3 x 22/7 ( 1728 - 1000)

                               = 4/3 x 22/7 x  728

                               = 305.66 cm3
