Answer:The cost of wood required to make the box is 9150 rupees.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given, the outer dimensions of a closed wooden box are 22cm,15cm and 10cm.

∴The volume of the box = 22×15×10 cm³

= 3300 cm³

∵Thickness of the wood is 1cm.

∴The inner dimensions of the closed wooden box are (22-2)=20cm,(15-2)=13cm and (10-2)=8cm.

∴The inner volume of the box = 20×13×8 cm³

= 2080 cm³

∴The volume of the wood of the box = (3300-2080) cm³

= 1220 cm³

If,1cm³ of wood costs rupees 7.50

Then, the cost of wood required to make the box = 1220×7.50 rupees

= 9150 rupees
