Answer:

Outer measure of box

= (4 × 3.6 × 1) m

So outer volume = 14.4

Inner measure of box

= (3.6 × 3.4 × 0.8) m

So inner volume = 9.792

Now,

Volume of cardboard used =

outer volume - inner volume

(14.4 - 9.792)

= 4.608

Answer = 4.608
