Inside dimension of wooden box
l = 100 cm
b = 50 cm
h = 40 cm
Outside dimension of wooden box
l = 90 cm
b = 70 cm
h = 40 cm
Volume of wooden block = Volume of outside - volume of inside
= l×b×h - l×b×h
= 90×70×40 - 100×50×40
= 252000 - 200000
= 52000
or 52000/10000
=5.2 m3
So, volume of wood is 5.2 meter cube
