The outside dimensions of a wooden box are 1m x o.9x 0.6 the inside dimension are 0.8 x0.6x 0.5 the volume of the wood used is?

volume of wood used = volume of bigger cuboid- volume of smaller cuboid

=L*B*H-l*b*h

=80*5*100-900*700*40

=40cm³
