The owner of a business receives an order for supply of goods worth Rs 5,00,000. He has also received a sum of Rs 50,000 against this order as an advance. Can this amount be recorded as proceeds from sales in the books of account? Give reason.

since he had received the advance for selling the product. so he enter the same as sales in their books
