32%oxygen 
So,in 100g,we have 32g of oxygen 
And, 100-32=68g of metal 
Then, we use oxygen method
Mass of metal÷mass of oxygen =Eq.wt.of metal÷Eq.wt.of oxygen 
68g÷32g=x÷8
(68×8)÷32=x
x=12g
