32 % O2 :

In 100 grams , we have 32 grams of O2

100 - 32 = 68 grams of metal

Then ,

Mass of metal / mass of O2 = Eq. wt. of metal / Eq. wt. of O2

68 / 32 = x / 8

(68×8) / 32 = x

x = 12g
