From 18 g water 16g O is obtained.
Hence from 72000 g h2O (16/18*72000)g oxygen is obtained
=64 kg

Answer : The oxygen obtained from 72 Kg of water is, 64 Kg.

Solution : Given,

Mass of water = 72 Kg = 72000 g         (1 Kg = 1000 g)

Molar mass of water = 18 g/mole

Molar mass of oxygen = 16 g/mole

As we know that,

The oxygen obtained from 18 g of water = 16 g

The oxygen obtained from 72000 g of water = \frac{16g}{18g}\times 72000g=64000g

The oxygen obtained = 64000 g = 64 Kg

Therefore, the oxygen obtained from 72 Kg of water is, 64 Kg.
