CSA of Room = 2(lh+bh)

2(12*4.25+5*4.25)

144.5m²

Containers required to paint = 144.5/8.5 = 17

Total Cost = 17*350 = 5950 Rs

Answer:

containers of paint will be required to paint the walls of hall room which is 12m long, 5m wide, and 4.25m in high

 = \frac{2lb + 2bh + 2lh}{8.5} \\ = \frac{120 + 42.5 + 102}{8.5} \\ = \frac{264.5}{8.5} = 31

cost of paint if each container own Rs. 350/-

 = 31 \times 350 = 10850
