The painting of the Mona Lisa measures 77 cm x 53 cm. What area is this in square metres?

Area = lb

Area = 77×53 = 4081 cm²

Area = 0.4081 m²

area of the square = length*breadth

area of the painting in cm = 77*53= 4081 (cm square)

therefore the area of the painting in meters is 0.4081 (meters square)
