The pair of compounds that can exist together is (c) FeCl₂ , SnCl₂.

  • FeCl and SnCl exists together because Fe²⁺ and Sn²⁺ have lower oxidation state and Fe²⁺ cannot be reduced by Sn²⁺ .
  • Any compound  having lower oxidation state which cannot be reduced by one another can exists together.
