2x-5y+4=0

2x-5y=-4 ........(I)

2x+y-8=0

2x+y=8 ........(ii)

solving eq. (i)&(ii)

we get, -6y=-12

y=2

putting the value of y=2 in eq. (ii)

2x+y=8

or, 2x=8-2

or, X=3
