cost of 5 socks = rs. 1250
cost of 1 socks = rs 1250/5= 250
now ,
cost of caps is twice the cost of socks then= 250×2=500.

cost of 4 caps = 4×500=rs2000
cost of 2 caps = 2 × 250= rs 500.
2000+ 500=rs2500
I hope it help you

Price of a Cap= Rs. x
So,
Price of a pair of socks= Rs. 2x
5 pair of socks cost Rs.1250
So, one pair of socks cost = 1250/5 =>250
As we know price of a cap is half of price of a pair of a socks
Therefore,
Price of a pair of a cap = 250/2 => Rs.125
price of 2 pairs of socks and 4 caps  will be ,
2*250+4*125=500+500
=>Rs.1000
