  • Parallel sides = 30 cm and 20 cm
  • Distance between them = 18 cm

We know that,

Area of trapezium = 1/2 × ( sum of ║ sides ) × ( distance between them )

Substitute the given values. We get,

Area = 1/2 ( 30 + 20 ) ( 18 )

⇒ Area = 50 × 9

∴ Area = 450 cm²
