draw the perpendicular from smaller parallel side....you can understand how to find altitude....
(altitude)^2= 13^²-12^²
(altitude) ^2= 169-144= 25
altitude= 5 cm
area of trapezium= (1/2)(b1+b2)* altitude
= (1/2)(36+12)(5)= (1/2)(48)(5)= 120cm2
(altitude)^2= 13^²-12^²
(altitude) ^2= 169-144= 25
altitude= 5 cm
area of trapezium= (1/2)(b1+b2)* altitude
= (1/2)(36+12)(5)= (1/2)(48)(5)= 120cm2
