the parallel sides of a trapazium shaped are 72 and 28 m and distamce between them is 1t m . find the cost of leveling the feild at the rate of rs 4 per m²​

Given:-

Parallel sides = 72m and 28m

Distance between them = 1m

area \: of \: the \: trapezium \:  = \:  \frac{1}{2}  \times (sum \: of \: parallel \: sides) \times  \: (distance \: between \: them)

 =  >   \frac{1}{2}  \times (72 + 28) \times 1

 =  >  \frac{1}{2}  \times 100 \times 1

 =  >   2 \: and \: 100 \: will \: get \: cancelled \: and \: 50 \: will \: be \: left

 =  >  \: 50 {m}^{2}

the \: cost \: of \: levelling \: the \: field \: at \: rs.4per \: metre \:   =  \: (4 \times 50)

 =  > rs.200
