Given :

⬤ Parallel Sides of trapezium are 10 m and 20 m.

⬤ Distance between them is 4 m.

To Find :

⬤ Area of trapezium .

Formula Used :

\small\sf[\:{Area\:of\:Trapezium=\dfrac{1}{2}\times{(Sum\:of\:all\:Parallel\:Side}\times{h)}\:]}

Solution :

According to the Formula :

½ × (10 + 20) × 4

½ × 30 × 4

30 × 2

60

Therefore , The Area of the Trapezium is 60 m².

Given:-

  • The parallel sides of a trapezium are 10 m and 20 m
  • The distance between the parallels is 4 m (i.e altitude or height)

To find:-

  • The area of the trapezium

Solution:-

  • The formula to find the area of the trapezium when two parallel sides and the distance between them is given.

\boxed{\bf{\frac{1}{2}\times (sum\ of\ parallel\ sides) \times height}}

So,

Area = \frac{1}{2} \times (10+20) \times 4

Area = 30*2

Area = 60 m sq.

Hence,

  • \mathbb{The \;area \;of \;the \;trapezium\; is \;60 \;m\; sq.}
