The parallel sides of a trapezium are 10 m and 20m , and the distance between them is 8 m.
What is the area of the trapezium?

trapezium area=a+b÷2×h

=10+20÷2×8

=here 20 has been cancelled by 2 we get 10.

=10+10×8

=10+80

=90m^2

= 1/2 × (10+20) × 8

= 30 × 4
