Given,

The parallel sides of a trapezium are 12 cm and 10 cm

Perpendicular height is 7 cm.

To find :

Find the area of this trapezium.

Solution :

Here we have,

Parallel sides are 12 cm and 10 cm

Perpendicular height = 7 cm

We know that,

Area of trapezium = 1/2 * Sum of parallel sides * Height

Now putting values,

⇒ Area of trapezium = 1/2 * (12 + 10) * 7

⇒ Area of trapezium = 1/2 * 22 * 7

⇒ Area of trapezium = 11 * 7

Area of trapezium = 77 cm²

Therefore,

Area of trapezium = 77 cm²

Answer:

The parallel sides of a trapezium are 12 cm and 10 cm and perpendicular height is 7 cm. Find the area of this trapezium.

solution =

parallel sides = 12 cm and 10 cm

perpendicular height = 7 cm

To find the area of this trapezium here we have =

Area of trapezium = 1/2 x ( Sum of Sides ) x Height

= 1/2 x ( 12 + 10 ) cm x 7

cm

= 1/2 x 22 cm x 7 cm

= 11 x 7

= 77 cm square

Thus the area of trapezium = 77 cm square.
