The parallel sides of a trapezium are 14cm,30cm. It's non -parallel sides are equal to each being 10cm. Find the area of trapezium.​

Answer:

Area of trapezium = 1/2 ×h (a+b)

= 1/2 ×10 (14+30)

=5×44

=220

Checking answer: 220 = 1/2× 10 (14+b)

220=5(14+b)

220/5= 14 +b

44=14+b

44-14=b

30=b
