The figure is an isosceles trapezium because the non-parallel sides are both 17 CM.

28-21/2= 3.5cm

Distance between the parallel sides=( 17^2– 3.5^2)^0.5= 138.375 cm

Area of the isosceles trapezium =(28+21)*(138.375/2)= 49*69.1875
=3390 sqcm
