Given :

  • Two Parallel sides of a trapezium are 45.8cm and 81.2cm.
  • Distance between the parallel sides is 22cm.

To Find :

  • Area of Trapezium.

Solution :

As Given that the distance between the parallel sides is 22cm .So ,

\longmapsto\tt{Height\:of\:Trapezium=22cm}

Using Formula :

\longmapsto\tt\boxed{Area\:of\:Trapezium=\dfrac{1}{2}\times{Sum\:of\:parallel\:sides}\times{h}}

Putting Values :

\longmapsto\tt{\dfrac{1}{2}\times{(45.8+81.2)}\times{22}}

\longmapsto\tt{\dfrac{1}{\cancel{2}}\times{127}\times{\cancel{22}}}

\longmapsto\tt{127\times{11}}

\longmapsto\tt\bold{1397{cm}^{2}}

So , The Area of Trapezium is 1397cm²...

Option c) 1397cm² is correct...
