Answer: 14.25 cm.sq.

Step-by-step explanation:

We know ,

Area of Trapezium= (h/2)(x+y)

Therefore, to find Area, we need to find height.

BC= 2.6 CE= (7.5-3.9)/2 = 3.6

To find BE (h) We will use Pythagoras Theorem

BC^2= BE^2 + CE^2

=> (2.6)^2= BE^2 + (3.6)^2

=> 6.76 = BE^2 + 12.96

=> BE^2 = 6.2

=> BE = 2.5 (approx.)

Area of Trapezium = (h/2)(x+y)

= (2.5/2)(7.5+3.9)

= 1.25×11.4

= 14.25 cm.sq.
