let the length of parallel lines be 3x and 4x
Area of Trapezium =1/2*sum of parallel sides*distance between them
126=1/2*(3x+4x)*9
126=1/2*7x*9
126*2/9=7x
28=7x
28/7=x
4 = x
x = 4
Therefore,the parallel sides are 3x=3(4)= 12dm
4x=4(4)= 16dm
Area of Trapezium =1/2*sum of parallel sides*distance between them
126=1/2*(3x+4x)*9
126=1/2*7x*9
126*2/9=7x

Therefore,the parallel sides are 3x=3(4)= 12dm
4x=4(4)= 16dm
