36 cm and 60 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the parallel sides of a trapezium be 3x and 5x respectively.

Area of trapezium = 768 cm²

According to the question ;

Area of trapezium = ½ * ( sum of || sides ) * h

=> Area of trapezium = ½ * (3x + 5x) * 16

=> 768 = 8 ( 3x + 5x )

=> 8x = 768 / 8

=> 8x = 96

=> x = 96 / 8

=> x = 12

Therefore, parallel sides are ;

3x = 3 * 12 = 36 cm

5x = 5 * 12 = 60 cm
