The parallel sides of an isosceles trapezium are 40 m and 24 M the length of each non parallel sides is 17 M find the area of trapezium

Hence the area of the trapezium ABCD ,
[1/2(40+24)×8] sq.cm
=4(40+24)sq.cm
=(4×64)sq.cm
=256 sq.cm
