According to the question ;


Area of Trapezium = 126 dm²


⇒ 1 / 2 * ( sum of || sides ) * h = 126


⇒ 1 / 2 * ( 3x + 4x ) * 9 = 126


⇒ 9 ( 7x ) = 2 * 126


⇒ 63 x = 252


⇒ x = 252 / 63


⇒ x = 4


Therefore, the parallel sides of a trapezium are :


Parallel side = 3x = 3 * 4 = 12 dm


Parallel side = 4x = 4 * 4 = 16 dm
