length=?
breadth=50feets
perimeter=400feets
perimeter=2(l+b)
400feets=2(l+50) feets
400/2feets=l+50feets
200-50feets=l
150feets is the length.
ratio=150/50
=3:1
3:1 is the ratio.
hope it helps you.

perimeter of rectangular plot = 400 feet

width of rectangular plot = 50feet

perimeter = 400

2( l + b) = 400

2( l + 50) = 400

l + 50 = 200 => l = 150feet

length of rectangular plot

= 150 feet

ratio of its length and width

= 150 : 50 = 3 : 1

Answer: required ratio = 3 : 1
