Here given perimeter = 52 cm , non parallel sides c=d=10cm
and distance between two parallel lines = h = 8cm
As perimeter = a+ b + c +d = 52
Therefore a + b + 10 + 10 =52 cm
or a+ b = 32 cm
As area = h * (a +b ) /2
we have Area = 8 * 32 / 2 = 16 * 8 =128 cm2
Therefore area of the given trapezium = 128 cm2 (Ans)
