perimeter of a square =4*side so
side =perimeter /4
side =44/4=11

here is your answer ✨

the perimeter of the square is 44 cm

we first have to find length of one side of a square

 \bold{44 \div 4 = 11}

so the side is 11 cm

formula to find area

 \red{side \times side = area \: of \: square}
then

the side is obviously 11cm

as a square have all its side equal

11 \times 11 = 121 \:  \bold{the \: area \: of \: the \: square}
so my final answer is
  \underline{the \: area \: of \: the \: square \: is \: 121 \: centimeter}
hope it helps
