the parellel sides of a trapezium are 12 cm and 17 cm . it's non parellel sides are equal , each equal to 6.5 cm .considering the trapezium as the sum of parellelogram and an isoceles triangle .find its area

Use herons formula to find the area of the triangle. Then by the formula 1/2*b*h find the height of the triangle this will also be the height of the trapezium.

Then use formula 1/2*(sum of || sides)*h to find area of the trapezium
