equation for making graph is as follows :
y = 30 + (x-2)×10
y = 30 + 10x - 20
y = 10x + 10
so , when X= 5 i.e. time is five hours
y = 10 ×5 + 10
y = 60
so , for 5 hours charges are 60 rupees

NawalSarsuniya: friend where is graph
rishsbhgaur: put values of x and find y and then using those coordinates form graph
NawalSarsuniya: ok thanks
rishsbhgaur: most welcome

Answer:

The charge for the parking for 5 hours = Rs. 60

Step-by-step explanation:

Equation for making graph is as follows :

y = 30 + (x - 2) × 10

y = 30 + 10·x - 20

y = 10·x + 10

Now, draw this linear equation on the graph

Take Parking cost on y-axis and No. of hours of parking on x-axis

We need to find the charges for 5 hours. so at x = 5 draw a line parallel to y-axis and the point where it intersects the plotted linear equation is the required charge for the parking for 5 hours.

In the graph the vertical line intersects the equation at y = 60

So, The charge for the parking for 5 hours = Rs. 60
