no. of moles of H2 = 2 ÷2 = 1 mol
no. of moles of SO2 = 32÷ 64 = 0.5 mole
Let P be total Pressure of flask
partial pressure (H2) = 1/1.5 *P
partial pressure (SO2) = 0.5/1.5 * P

partial press. of H2 = mole fraction × total press.
moles of H2= 2/2= 1
moles of SO2= 32/64= 0.5
Partial press. of H2= 1/1+0.5= 1/1.5×total press. = 2/3rd of total press.
moles of H2= 2/2= 1
moles of SO2= 32/64= 0.5
Partial press. of H2= 1/1+0.5= 1/1.5×total press. = 2/3rd of total press.
