the sample is actually a suspension; as the particles are clearly visible, we can conlude that the particles are not dissolved, but suspended into the dispersion medium, and thus the sample is of a suspension

Particles of a suspension are visible to the naked eyes.  Suspension is a hetrogeneous mixture in which the solute particles do not dissolve but remain suspended though out the bulk of medium . It is in stable as the solute particles settles down when left undisturb .
