The Path goes around the perimeter of the square garden, and the perimeter of the square garden is; 4 x side = 4 x 20m = 100m

The Area that the path occupies is = 100 x width

                                                          = 100 x 1

                                                          = 100m2

Cost of levelling = Area x Rate

                             = 100 x 2.25

                             = Rs. 225
