explanation : potential energy of system of two masses m1 and m2 seperated r distance to each other is given as, U = Gm1m2/r

here three masses 1kg, 2kg and 3kg are placed at the three vertices of an equilateral triangle of side length 20cm or 0.2 m

then, potential energy of system of masses , U = U(1,2) + U(2,3) + U(3,1)

= G(1kg)(2kg)/(0.2m) + G(2kg)(3kg)/(0.2m) + G(3kg)(1kg)/(0.2m)

= 10G + 30G + 15G

= 55G

hence, potential energy of system of three masses is 55G.
