Solution

Given :-

  • Oscillation of pendulum = 20 .
  • Taken Time = 41 sec.

Find :-

  • Time period & Frequency

Explanation

Time period

Time taken by pendulum to complete a full oscillations.

Using Formula

Time Period = (Total time is taken by pendulum)/ (Number of Oscillations)

Keep value,

==> Time period = (41)/20

==> Time period = 4.1/2

==> Time period = 2.05 sec.

Therefore,

  • 2.05 sec is the time period of pendulum

Now, Calculate Frequency.

(Frequency is the number of completed wave cycles per second. )

Using Formula

f = 1/T

Keep value,

==> f = 1/2.05

Or,

==> f = 0.49 sec ^(-1).

Hence

  • Frequency will be f = 0.49 sec^(-1).
