The grape juice to alcohol ration  in the wine glass is 17:33.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

In two wine tanks the percentage of alcohol is is 20% and 40% respectively and rest is a grape juice.

By the tank 1 and 2 in the ratio of 2:3 a wine glass is filled to its half and  the rest is filled again with  pure alcohol.

To Find:

The grape juice to alcohol ratio in the wine glass.

Formula Used:

the ratio of  any two quantities  is defined as;

p: q = p/q

Solution:

As given - In two wine tanks the percentage of alcohol is is 20% and 40% respectively and rest is a grape juice.

1st  tank 20% alcohol and 80% juice.

2nd tank : 40% alcohol and 60% juice.

As given - by the tank 1 and 2 in the ratio of 2:3 a wine glass is filled to its half and  the rest is filled again by pure alcohol.

A wine glass contain ½ pure alcohol

And is filled by the tank 1 and 2 in the ratio of 2:3

(2/5)(1/2) 80% juice = 4/25

(3/5)(1/2) 60% juice = 9/50

Total  juice = 4/25 + 9/50 = 17/50.

Alcohol = 1 - 17/50 = 33/50

The ratio of the grape juice to alcohol ratio: 17:33

Thus, The ratio of the grape juice to alcohol ratio: 17:33
