Heyaa mate,

● Law of multiple proportions -
- It states that when two elements combine with each other to form more than one compound, the weights of one element that combine with a fixed weight of the other are in a ratio of small whole numbers.

● Answer -
Law of multiple proportion

● Explaination -
- In water -
H => 11.1 %, then O => 88.9 %
Ratio of O:H = 88.9/11.1 = 8:1

- In hydrogen peroxide -
H => 5.9 %, then O => 94.1 %
Ratio of O:H = 94.1/5.9 = 16:1

Ratio of weights of oxygen in two compositions is 16/8 = 2.

This is how the values illustrate law of multiple proportions.

Hope this helps...
