Solution:-

Total number of unit tests held = 5

(i) Number of unit test in which the student gets a first class that is at least 60% marks =4

∴ Probability that the student gets a first class

 = \frac{4}{5} = 0.8

(ii) Number offer test in which the student gets marks between 70% and 80% = 2

∴ Probability that a student gets marks between 70% and 80%

 = \frac{2}{5} = 0.4

(iii) Number of test in which the student gets distinction = 2

∴ Probability that the student gets distinction

 = \frac{2}{5} = 0.4

(iv) Number of Tests in which the student gets less than 65% marks = 2

∴ Probability that a student gets less than 65% marks

 = \frac{2}{5} = 0.4
