The perimeater of a rectangular plot is 120m.Its length is 34m.Find the breadth and area of the rectangular plot.

Perimeter of rectangular plot = 120 m

Length = 34 m

Breadth = ?

Perimeter of rectangle= 2 ( L + B)

⇒ 120 = 2(34 + y)

⇒ 120 = 68 + 2y

⇒ 2y = 120 - 68

⇒ 2y = 52

⇒ y = 52/2

⇒ y = 26

Breadth = 26

Area of rectangular plot = length × breadth

Area = 34 m × 26 m

Area = 884 m²
