AnswEr :

  • Perimeter of Rectangular Sheet is 40feet.
  • Length of Sheet is three times the Breadth.
  • Find the Dimensions.

⋆ Let the Breadth be n feet

⋆ Length = Three Times of Breadth

» Length = 3 × n feet

» Length = 3n feet

Now According to Question ;

⇒ Perimeter of Rectangle = 2 × (Length + Breadth)

  • Plugging the Values

⇒ 40 = 2 × ( 3n + n )

⇒ 40 = 2 × 4n

⇒ 40 = 8n

  • Dividing Both term by 8

n = 5

◑ Length = 3n = (3 × 5) = 15 feet

◑ Breadth = n = 5 feet

Dimensions of Rectangular Sheet is 15 feet long and 5 feet wide.
