Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

perimeter of rectangle = 52cm

breadth of rectangle = 12cm

perimeter = 2(l+b)

          52  = 2 (l+12)

          52/2= l+12

          26-12 = l

          14 = l

length = 14 cm

area of rectangle = l × b

                             = 12 × 14

                            =  168cm²

Solution :-

Given : Perimeter of Rectangle = 52 cm ;

Breadth of Rectangle

To Find : Area of Rectangle.

To find the area of Rectangle, we must have length and breadth. In this question, we have only breadth. So, to find the area, we have to find it's length first.

So, let's Find it ;

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2 (l + b)

\implies52 = 2 (l + 12)

\implies \dfrac{52}{2} = l + 12

\implies26 = l + 12

\implies26 - 12 = l

\implies14 cm = l

So, The Length of Rectangle is 14 cm.

Now, Area of Rectangle = L × B

\implies14 × 12

\implies 168 cm²

So, the area of Rectangle is 168 cm².
