Perimeter of a square = 4*side
Perimeter of 1st square = 24 cm
Side of 1st = 24/4 = 6 cm
Perimeter of 2nd square = 32 cm
Side of 2nd = 32/4 = 8 cm
Perimeter of 3rd square = 40 cm
Side of 3rd = 40/4 = 10 cm
Perimeter of 4th = 76 cm
Side of 4th = 19 cm
Perimeter of 5th = 80 cm
Side of 5th = 80/4 = 20 cm.
AREA = Side * Side
Area of 1st square = 6*6 = 36 cm^2
Area of 2nd = 8*8 = 64 cm^2
Area of 3rd = 10*10 = 100 cm^2
Area of 4th = 19*19 = 361 cm^2
Area of 5th = 20*20 = 400 cm^2

Given that Area of new square= Sum of areas of given 5 squares
Sum of areas of 5 squares = 36+64+100+361+400 = 961
So, Area of new square = 961 cm^2
Area = side^2
Side of new square = root (Area) = root(961) = 31 cm
Hence, Perimeter of New Square = 4* side = 4*31 = 124 cm
Hope it helps.
