The perimeter of a base of the right circular cylinder is 44cm and its height is 10cm then its volume is?

\huge{\underline{\color{maroon}{\textbf{~~~Answer}}}}

Perimeter of circle,

 \sf \: 2\pi \:r

Therefore,

 \sf \: 44cm \:  = 2\pi \: r

 =  \sf \: r = 7cm

_____________________________

Volume of the right circular cylinder,

 \sf = \pi \:  {r}^{2} h

 \sf =  \frac{22}{7}  \times 7 \times 7 \times 10 {cm}^{3}

 \sf \:  = 1540cm ^{3}

Solution:-

Given : Circumference of a cylinder =2πrh=44cm and  height(h)=10cm

Lateral surface area of a cylinder =2πrh

                                                        = circumference of the base × height of the cylinder

 =44×10=440cm2

∴ Lateral surface area of a cylinder is 440sq.cm.

✔Hence it is verified
