Step-by-step explanation:

Given The perimeter of a circle is 45 cm more than its diameter then find the perimeter of a circle

  • Let radius of circle be r
  • Now perimeter (circumference) = diameter + 45
  • So 2πr = 2r + 45
  •      2πr - 2r = 45
  •   Or 2r (π – 1) = 45
  •   Or r = 45 / 4.28
  •    Or r = 10.5 cm
  • Therefore perimeter = diameter + 45
  •                               = 2(10.5) + 45
  •                                 = 66 cm

Hence perimeter of the circle is 66 cm
