Let the length be x

& the breadth be y

The height of the room is 3cm .

We know ,

Perimeter of the rectangle is 2(l+w)

➝ 2 ( l + b ) = 18

➝ l + b = 18/2

➝ l + b = 9 ------(1)

The area of four wall of the room = CSA of cuboid

➝ 2 (l + b ) × h

From 1 & given, h = 3cm .

➝ 2 ( 9 ) × 3

➝ 18 × 3

24 cm²

Answer: 24 cm^{2} \\

Step-by-step explanation:

The perimeter of a floor a room is 18 m.

The height of the room is 3cm .

The area of four wall of the room.

Let the length be x

& the breadth be y

The height of the room is 3cm .

We know ,

Perimeter of the rectangle is 2(l+w)

➝ 2 ( l + b ) = 18

➝ l + b = 18/2

➝ l + b = 9 ------(1)

The area of four wall of the room 2 x l+b x h

➝ 2 (l + b ) × h

From 1 & given, h = 3cm .

➝ 2 ( 9 ) × 3

➝ 18 × 3

➝ 24 cm²
