length=12m

we know perimeter of rectangle= 2(l+b)

or 42m= 2(12+b) here b is the breadth

or 42m=24m+2b

2b=42m-24m

2b=18m

b=18/2m=9m

Now

Area of rectangle= l×b

implies:12m×9m

Area=108m²
