the perimeter of a hexagonal display board is 42cm.the board has to be bordered around with satin ribbon. find the length of ribbon required to border each side.

The perimeter of a regular hexagon = 6*(length of each side) 
Total length of satin ribbon required = Perimeter of the board
42 cm = 6*(length of each side) ⇒ length of each side = 7cm
Thus, the length of satin ribbon required per side = length of side of board =                                                            7cm

and its perimeter is 42 cm
each side required ribbion is 42÷6=7
